Tips to increase the phone’s battery life

1.Don't use the phone while charging
One should avoid using the phone while it is charging. This is called parasitic charging and it can be a cause to mobile damage.

2.Don't use a fake charger
Users should use the same company chargers as of their phone. This is important if the phone supports quick charging. As the high chargers can quickly charge the phone, but can also damage it, if not properly optimized.

3.Zero or 100% charging is not good
One should not charge their phones 100% all the time, as it can cause damage to the battery. Also it is recommended not let the battery down to zero. one should avoid both the conditions in order to increase the battery life.

4. Don't leave the phone on the charger all night
Users should not leave the phones for charging all the night. It can cause the huge damage to the phone’s battery. As said earlier, 100% charging is always avoided.

5.Turn Off Vibrations
Phone vibrations are used instead of ringtones by users while they are in meeting, offices, colleges etc. Vibrations consume more battery compared to a ringtone. Ringtones create very tiny vibrations to phone speakers, compared to shaking of entire phone in case of vibrations.

6.Dim the phone screen
Dimming the phone screen definitely reduces the smartphone’s battery consumption.Auto-brightness setting enable the smartphone to adjust the brightness to its optimal level for reading while conserving battery life.

7.Shorten Screen Timeout
If user want to minimize the power consumption of their smartphone of the screen display, they should shorten the screen timeout. This decides how long the screen will remain lit after the user finish interacting with it. Keeping the timeout duration short will ensure that the phone doesn’t waste power when you’re not using it.

8.Switching Off the phone
It is true that turning on the phone consumes more power than unlocking the phone, switching it off for a couple of hours can save more battery than leaving it on sleep or inactive mode. If user is not going to touch the phone for an extended period of time, such as when the user attending a meeting or sleeping, user can actually cut down a significant amount of energy consumption if user simply switch it off.

9.Close Unnecessary Apps
Some of the user opens app and don’t bother to close them even after they no longer need to use them. This multi-tasking capability is a common feature of smartphones, but it is also a main reason why battery life gets drained away easily.
